美容アンチエイジング医療を、エビデンスを持った科学へ。
アンチエイジング医療の世界には、「効く」と言われる治療が数多く存在します。
レーザー、再生医療、点滴、サプリメント、各種デバイス。毎年のように新しい治療が登場し、「最新」「若返り」「再生」といった言葉が並びます。
しかし、その中で本当に十分な科学的エビデンスを持つものは、実はそれほど多くありません。
むしろ問題なのは、「現在エビデンスを取得している最中です」という言葉のもとに、十分な検証が終わっていない治療が、そのまま臨床の現場で行われていることです。
もちろん医学は、新しい治療への挑戦なくして進歩しません。けれども、新しいことと、効果が証明されていることは全く別です。
僕は、美容医療やアンチエイジング医療を、流行や宣伝文句ではなく、エビデンスを持った「科学」にしたいと考えています。
今回の「令和の寺子屋」では、現在行われているさまざまなアンチエイジング治療について、
「何が分かっているのか」
「何がまだ分かっていないのか」
「どこまでが医学で、どこからが仮説なのか」
を、できる限り整理してお話しします。
後半には質問コーナーも設けます。
医学、工学、薬学、経営管理学と異なる領域で4つの博士号を取得し、長年レーザー・美容医療の臨床と研究に携わってきた藤本幸弘が、治療法、医療機器、再生医療、サプリメント、美容医療の疑問まで、可能な限りその場でお答えします。
答えが分からないものについては、分からないと答えます。
それもまた科学だからです。

The Truth About Cutting-Edge Anti-Aging Medicine

Bringing aesthetic and anti-aging medicine into the realm of evidence-based science.
In the world of anti-aging medicine, there are countless treatments said to “work.”
Lasers. Regenerative medicine. IV therapies. Supplements. Various medical devices.
New treatments appear almost every year, accompanied by words such as “cutting-edge,” “rejuvenation,” and “regeneration.”
But in reality, there are far fewer treatments with solid scientific evidence behind them than you might expect.
More concerning is the fact that some treatments that have not yet undergone sufficient validation are already being used in clinical practice under the reassuring phrase:
“We are currently in the process of gathering evidence.”
Of course, medicine cannot advance without taking on new challenges and exploring new treatments.
But something being new and something being scientifically proven are two entirely different things.
My goal is to make aesthetic and anti-aging medicine a genuine science—one grounded in evidence rather than trends or marketing claims.
In this installment of “Reiwa Terakoya,” I will take a close look at the various anti-aging treatments currently being offered and try to clarify:
What do we actually know?
What do we still not know?
Where does established medicine end, and where does hypothesis begin?
I will do my best to organize these questions clearly and discuss them as objectively as possible.
There will also be a Q&A session in the second half of the event.
Yukihiro Fujimoto, who holds four doctoral degrees spanning medicine, engineering, pharmaceutical sciences, and business administration, and who has spent many years working in the clinical practice and research of laser medicine and aesthetic medicine, will answer as many questions as possible on the spot—from treatments, medical devices, and regenerative medicine to supplements and the broader questions surrounding aesthetic medicine.
And when I don’t know the answer, I will simply say that I don’t know.
That, too, is science.
