大学の研究室との研究の打ち合わせ後、一つ前の駅で降りて千鳥ヶ淵を散策。
桜は満開でした。
After a research meeting with the university lab, I got off one station early and took a walk around Chidorigafuchi. The cherry blossoms were in full bloom.
満開で大混雑の京都醍醐寺。豊臣秀吉が開いた花見会。
初回は吉野、2度目はこの醍醐寺だったんですよね。
表からは綺麗に桜が観えましたが、内部の見学が出来るチケット購入には長い列。
午後のフライトを控えていて内部の見学は次回に持ち越しました。
Daigo-ji Temple in Kyoto was in full bloom and extremely crowded. It is known for the cherry blossom viewing party hosted by Toyotomi Hideyoshi—his first was in Yoshino, and the second was held here at Daigo-ji. The cherry blossoms looked beautiful from the outside, but there was a long line to buy tickets to go inside. As I had a flight scheduled for the afternoon, I decided to leave the अंदर visit for next time.
ちょっと高度は違いますが、ヘリから撮った桜の清水寺と紅葉の清水寺です。
上から観ると紅葉の美しさが圧巻です。
Although the altitude is a bit different, these are views of Kiyomizu-dera during cherry blossom season and autumn foliage, photographed from a helicopter. When seen from above, the beauty of the autumn leaves is truly breathtaking.
2度のヘリ飛行時間は合計2時間46分。
伊丹空港に帰る途中に伏見の桜を見学。
桜はヘリで観るより地上から青空や夜をバックに観る方が美しいですね。
明日は京都は雨だとか。
今回は京都日帰り桜ヘリ操縦でした。
今日は西へ。
10分早く出て、早朝の赤坂の桜を楽しんできました。
羽田は6時から大混雑。
ああ春休みだからですね。

Heading west today. I left ten minutes earlier than usual and took a moment to enjoy the cherry blossoms in Akasaka in the early morning.
Haneda Airport was already extremely crowded from 6 a.m. — of course, it’s spring vacation season.
