UKETAの写真認証システムのおかげで一瞬で入国できました。

これはこれで便利かもしれません。

ヒースローに到着後、明日早朝のコペンハーゲンへの移動のためにガトウィック空港行きのバスに。

ガトウィックのホテルに一泊します。

再びロンドンに戻るのは週末です。

Safely arrived at LDN Heathrow, now I am taking a bus to Gatwick,stay overnight there and will be taking an early morning flight to Copenhagen Denmark tomorrow.

Will be back again in London over the weekend.

今日からしばらく欧州です。

まずイギリス入国なのですが、本年から米国ESTAの様な入国の仕組みが必要になりました。

期限2年間。

日本から申請しようとしたら、検索してもとにかく高額な手数料を要求する偽物サイトが沢山。

なかなか本物に辿り着けず閉口しました。

結局日本大使館からリンク先を見つけ出し、アプリを入れた上でパスポート実物を使って写真と電子と顔写真の三通りの登録。英語のみ。

これは高齢者は無理ですね。

欧州シェンゲン協定の入国もまさに本日からネットの申請になるらしく、行ってからの対応になりそうです。

Business trip – heading to Europe for a while. My first entry point is the UK, and what is new this time is that as of this year, they’ve introduced a system so called UK ETA,similar to the US ESTA , which they say is valid for two years.
When I tried to apply from Japan, I was overwhelmed by countless fake websites demanding exorbitant fees—making it hard to find the genuine one. Eventually, I found the correct link through the Japanese embassy’s website. After installing the app, I had to register my actual passport, a digital copy, and a facial photo—all in English. This process would be really difficult for elderly people.
Apparently, starting today, entry into the Schengen Area in Europe also requires an online application, so I’ll likely handle that after I arrive.
Well then, ITTEKIMASU !
