今日は休診日。ゴルフ初打ちでした。

朝気温3度の予報でスキー日和かと思いましたが、ゴルフ出来るものですね。笑。

今日ラウンドしたのは、いつもはスムーズに回れる友人の名門コースなのですが、目の前の方々がとにかく動きが遅い。

聞けば90歳の方がラウンドされていたのだそうです。そのお年でラウンド出来るのは素晴らしいですが、やっぱり後続組は調子は悪くなりますよね。

1ホールだけ、538ヤードの16番ホールでツーオンして、久しぶりに3mのイーグルパット。

カップ横に15cmでOKバーディーをもらえたのが、唯一の今日の良い思い出でした。

Today was a day off, and I played my first round of golf of the year.
The morning forecast said it would be 3°C, so I thought it might be more like skiing weather—but surprisingly, golf was still doable. (Laughs)

I played at a prestigious course owned by a friend, where rounds usually move quite smoothly. However, the group ahead of us was moving extremely slowly. As it turns out, one of the players was 90 years old. It’s truly impressive to be able to play a full round at that age, but understandably, it does affect the pace and the rhythm of the groups behind.

The highlight of the day came on just one hole—the 538-yard 16th—where I managed to reach the green in two. I even had a 3-meter eagle putt, something I haven’t had in a while. The ball stopped about 15 cm from the cup, and I was given a “good-good” birdie. That was pretty much the only good memory from today’s round.
